Whale Watching

Liam does not like to lay down, especially in his car seat. He wants to be active doing something, usually standing. As you can see in the pictures above he just wanted to sit there. He would not let go of the stroller.

All Day at Water World

Usually when we head to Water World it's just for a few hours since we have a pass. This last Saturday we went from open til close. It was a long, fun day. It was actually for our company picnic. So for a change I had some help with the boys and was able to take Gavin on a few rides. 1st we tried out the lazy river and Sherry took Liam so I could take Gavin. We went on that a few times throughout the day. Then we went on Thunder River, Gavin I I rode together and Liam(while asleep) rode with Jackie and Leo. We also went down the Big Top, it has a circus theme to it. Gavin loved the Fun House and Clown Around Creek. He floated around and around the river on his own tube.

Growing Boy 4 Months

You are getting pretty chubby and weigh about 16lbs. You have so many different facial expressions and they change in seconds.Your new favorite thing to do is stick your tongue out, usually right after you smile. If we aren't paying attention to you, you stick it out and wait for us to look at you and you can tell you are smiling behind that tongue. You prefer being naked. You are getting much stronger and closer to sitting up all on your own. You like to stand a lot still while we hold you and only spend a few minutes in you johnny jump up or Little Einsteins standing toy. When we put you in the Bumbo now we have to stay very close because you will arch your back to get out and try to stand. You aren't screaming as much as you were, instead just talking more to us. You prefer to watch what your brother is doing over any of us. You like it when he is being silly or even playing rough with you. When your brother isn't happy you aren't happy, if he cries you do too. You also like putting your feet in the water at water world and love the shower. I haven't put you all the way in the water at water world because it is pretty cold. You are still a pretty cuddly boy when you are tired :) You like to chew in your finger, either your thumb, a couple fingers, fist or all of them.

Breakfast Picnic

Gavin has been asking to have a picnic on our front porch for some time now. He's been sick this week with croup so we've been in the house quite a bit. So I thought having a picnic for breakfast might be a good way to get us outside.

Puppet Show

Gavin put on a puppet show today. The laundry basket was his stage and he used his mountain goat.

Children's Paradise Party

Our friend had a Children's Paradise Party yesterday. Each child had to bring a picture they drew of them self in paradise and then they got to pick out a stuffed animal. Gavin picked out a pelican. They had rabbits for petting along with their pet chickens and donkeys and ponies to ride. They also had great food and a jumpy castle for the kids.

Family Worship

As part of our family worship this week Gavin painted a picture of himself in paradise to take to the paradise party he is going to this weekend. We talked about the Bible's hope of living in paradise and tried to make the painting fun with different paint brushes.





Gavin wants to ride on an elephant, says I'm going to ride on a giraffe and Clint is going to ride on a bear. I'll have to ask him what Liam is going to ride on again, I can't remember what he said.

Japanese Meal

Today our Japanese Group had the privilege or feeding the Gilmore's lunch. We also saw a beautiful rainbow this evening.
