Breakfast Picnic

Gavin has been asking to have a picnic on our front porch for some time now. He's been sick this week with croup so we've been in the house quite a bit. So I thought having a picnic for breakfast might be a good way to get us outside.

Gavin loves playing with Liam and trying to make him smile! Liam adores Gavin and will watch him all day long.

So far these two are doing great. Gavin loves Liam and is always trying to help him if he starts to cry. He'll sing, play his guitar, dance, talk, give him a blanket, pretty much anything he can think to entertain him. And Liam loves watching Gavin and smile at him a lot.

Growing Boy 1 Month Old

I can't believe Liam is a month already. The time has flown by. He's over 11lbs and over 22 inches long already. He holds his head up really well, enjoys tummy time while on one of our chests, and likes to stand while he's awake...I remember Gavin wanting to stand alot at about 3 months, what is up with this boy?! He is talking a lot more and loves music. He sleeps best where there is noise...he's use to his brother making lots of noise I guess. Gavin is always trying to make Liam happy if he cries, which isn't too often...only when he's hungry, tired or needs changed or burped. He is sleeping longer some nights up to 5 hrs at a time before eating again. He's noticing his toys more and enjoys his swing much more than at 1st. He's out of the basinet and lays in his bed(pack n play for now) and shadow boxes a lot and also will watches his teddy bear mobile long enough for me to get ready for the day. He doesn't like keeping the blanket on at night and kicks it off.
