Day 3-Blog 365
Visit Blog 365
I got an email about Blog 365 a week or two ago. I've been thinking about trying it. I can usually blog(not always finish and post it) or write down some thoughts in my journal each day. On there website site it said if you post offline work, consider changing the date on the post to reflect the day you actually created the content. So when I don't have time to actual get on the internet and post I will write down my thoughts or ideas and post it when I get the chance. So I'm am going to give this a try. I'm also going to try to take more pictures, since Gavin is growing so fast. So if nothing else I can post one of those. Why not check it out.

Day 2-Allergic reaction
Last night around 8:30 Gavin got sick and threw up all the food and milk he had eaten all day. And then his face broke out in a rash. I was pretty sure it was the milk. We had offered milk to him for a while and he would never take any more than a sip. He also won't eat cheese or ice cream. I think he may be allergic to dairy.
I called the doctor today about Gavin's reaction to the milk and the first thing I was told to do is stop giving him whole milk. Well duh! I already did that. Then she asked what formula he was on and I let her know that he was breast fed and always threw up the formula(which is milk based) when we tried giving it to him. The nurse called me back and said to try goat's milk($2.99 a quart) and make Gavin an appointment for next week. I know there are a lot of options out there other than drinking milk, I just need to do some research and see what I can find out.

Day 1-Weaning
avin hasn't nursed since Sunday evening. I wasn't going to stop so suddenly. But we were so busy Monday that he didn't nurse all day. We were running around in the morning and then when I picked him up from Deb's in the afternoon I was thinking he hasn't nursed in 24hrs, so I would try to keep it up and see what happened. He was fussy for about half an hour. I offered him whole milk, but he wasn't interested. So he just had some water and a little juice. Today he has been fine and hasn't even asked to nurse and he's been drinking some milk.
